It's the day Apple fans have been waiting for: the release of the new iPhone 5S and 5C.
Outside the AT&T store near the Cottonwood Mall, some people got in line as early as 3:30 a.m. to be the first to upgrade their phones when stores open at 8 a.m. Some people waiting in line told KOB Eyewitness News 4 they were most excited about the fingerprint sensor feature on the 5S model and the new colors.
Apple did not take pre-orders on the iPhone 5S and the company hasn't released any figures on pre-sale advance orders for the 5C.
Last year, the company sold 5 million iPhones worldwide in the first three days.
