Week 4 standouts

Here's a look at some of the standout performances in high school football this past week.

Navajo Prep's Tyler Sorensen threw for a state record 630 yards in a loss to Escalante.  Sorensen threw five touchdown passes, three to Isaiah Yazzie who caught a state record 353 yards.

Cleveland running back Jesse Nieto rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-21 win at Clovis.

Las Cruces running back JJ Granados scored four times in a 42-6 win against Rio Rancho.

Del Norte's Daryl Wiggins rushed 28 times for 225 yards and three touchdowns against Grants as the Knights won 35-13.

Atrisco Heritage jrunning back Ricci Alvidrez rushed for 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 26-6 win at Valencia.

La Cueva quarterback Beau Kujath threw four touchdown passes against Rio Grande.

Hobbs quarterback David Romero threw 3 touchdown passes in a 54-33 win over Onate.
