A child was injured in a crash on Eastern and Georgia on Thursday.

ALBUQUERQUE -- A 4-year-old child ejected from a vehicle during a crash in southeast Albuquerque has been hospitalized on Thursday morning.
According to Albuquerque police, 47-year-old Jesus Holguin collided with a vehicle occupied by a woman and her child at the intersection of Kentucky and Katherine. Witnesses said Holguin fled from the scene, ran through a stop sign and then crashed into another vehicle at Georgia and Eastern.
The second vehicle was occupied by two adults and a 4-year-old child, who was ejected upon impact.
The child was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police say the child is stable but remains in critical condition.
The occupants of the vehicle involved in the initial hit-and-run collision are said to be OK, according to police.
Holguin was booked on felony charges including charges related to a crash with great bodily harm. Holguin was operating an vehicle with a wrong plate and was driving on a suspended license and had no insurance.
