ALBUQUERQUE -- Supporters of the late-term abortion ban will unveil a new mobile billboard Wednesday afternoon, and warning, it's a bit graphic.
The group behind the billboard, Created Equal, said their goal is to save lives.
The billboard shows images of aborted fetuses, which will be on a truck driven around Albuquerque for everyone to see. They plan to drive the mobile billboard until election day on Nov. 19.
"If the photographic evidence of the injustice of abortion doesn't motive the pro-life vote, nothing will," said Mark Harrington, executive director of Created Equal.
This comes a week after Respect ABQ Women, the group against the ban, launched a commercial campaign showing a woman talking about the circumstances that led her to have a late-term abortion. The group plans to air the aid until Nov. 19 as well.
New Mexico is one of the few states with no restrictions on abortions.
