The New Mexico Lobos are down south in Las Cruces to take on the New Mexico State Aggies at the Pan American Center.

Tip off is at 7:05 p.m. and will be televised on ROOT Network. New Mexico (5-1) is 115-95 overall against the Aggies (7-2) in the rivalry game.

However, New Mexico State is 58-43 at home against the Lobos.

Last season, the Lobos swept the series and have won 10 of the last 11 games in the series.

New Mexico is led by big man Alex Kirk who has 20.8 points per game and has recorded a double double in each game this season.

Cameron Bairstow completes the large presence down in the paint for the Lobos. He's averaged 19 points per game.

New Mexico State will not be a short order for the Lobos due to Sim Bhullar, a 7-foot-5 sophomore with 30 blocks this season.

The Aggies also bring senior forward Renaldo Dixon and junior Tshilidzi Nephawe, both 6-foot-10. Kendall Williams will lead the Lobos front court.

He scored 28 points in the Lobos victory against San Diego and has averaged 19.8 points per game on 49% field goal shooting.

He'll be matched by New Mexico State guard Daniel Mullings, who has 17.9 point per game, including 24 in an 85-83 loss at Colorado State.
