Thursday's weather made it difficult for drivers heading into the state capital all day.
Earlier this morning, icy roads and low visibility caused a few delays, and even forced some drivers to pull over and wait until the storm calmed down a bit.
State police said vehicles were slipping off the roads into medians and shoulders all morning.
KOB also found people at a travel center off I-25, just waiting in their cars. They didn't want to sit in the traffic and were actually concerned about driving in this weather.
"I wanted to take precautions you know the roads are really bad. People are speeding out there so I just wanted to see if we can get a break in this weather before I move on," said Randy Lucero of Santa Fe.
State police want to remind drivers to allow extra time to your commute and be cautious.
