A landscaping business in Roswell is a complete loss following an overnight fire.
But the owner is breathing a sigh of relief because as KOB Eyewitness News 4 found out, the damage could have been a lot worse.
David Olague is the owner of David’s Landscaping.
Olague and his dad built the company from the ground up.
"Two lawn mowers, two weed eaters, four or five blowers," said Olague.
All of those tools were in a shed that went up in flames Tuesday night.
The video of the fire is from Plains-Valley Online News.
"Just chaos all over us, people running all over the place trying to figure out what was going on," said Olague.
The flames were so high, they melted the power lines.
“The power line was burnt in half and they had trouble turning it off because that power line was still shortening out," said Olague.
All of the company’s equipment, tools, and paperwork were destroyed in the shed fire.
Luckily with all of the damage in the backyard, none of the flames reached the house where his parents were inside sleeping.
“I’m thankful nobody got hurt, the only thing that was scary is the flames were getting close to my parent's house, and that would have sucked if their house would have caught on fire. But thank god you know it didn't happen," said Olague.
Now Olague has to start from the ground again and rebuild his business.
“Well, I’m going to have to buy all my tools again and start from scratch again," said Olague.
The company estimates there is around $13,000 in damage.
The fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire.
