Jan. 12 — USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game at Omaha, Neb.

Jan. 28 — CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game at Vancouver, British Columbia.

Jan. 28-Feb. 1 — NHL All-Star break.

Jan. 30 — All-Star skills competition at Nashville, Tenn.

Jan. 31, 2016 — All-Star Game at Nashville, Tenn.

Feb. 29 — Trade deadline, 3 p.m. EST

March 1 — Deadline for national associations to announce minimum 16-player rosters for 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

April 9 — Final day of regular season.
