She is the woman inspiring audiences around the country. Kacy Catanzaro made history on NBC's hit show, "American Ninja Warrior," as the first woman to complete the show's grueling course.

Catanzaro spoke to KOB via satellite and said she is just getting started.

The five-foot-tall, 100-pound woman made the obstacle course look easy.

"It's a great, great feeling having so many people behind you and it definitely gives you that little boost that you need to do well," Catanzaro said.

The 24-year-old gymnast gracefully moved through the obstacles, where others twice her size have gone down.

"Everyone says I looked super calm, which is good," Catanzaro said. "I didn't know I was giving that off, which is really great. I just try to stay calm, because you know, it's something very important that I'm passionate about, but if you're not having fun out there, then why are you doing it?"

Catanzaro qualified for the reality show's national finals round in Las Vegas.

That episode is set to air in August.

She also plans to submit a new application and video to get back on the show next year. But her ambitions don't end on national television.

Catanzaro says she wants to be a spokesperson for fitness, perhaps traveling to schools around the country and encouraging young people.

"Now that I have this spotlight and people are looking at me, I just want to make sure I do the right thing with it," Catanzaro said. "And I keep giving those positive messages and am able to inspire people even more and give them their confidence and help them accomplish their goals as well."
