An Albuquerque family says they've dealt with five separate car thefts in just the past month and they say the cars are taken right from their driveway.

Amber Hallmark has only been living in her house near 86th and Tower a month and she says her cars have been stolen five times. The first time, both her husband's Ford Focus and her Chevy HHR were missing from the driveway just a week after they moved in.

She says police did find the Focus when they pulled it over.

"They jumped out and ran off," said Amber Hallmark.

But she says a week later the Focus was gone again and they haven't found it since.

Then there's her car. She says the Chevy HHR has been stolen three times, and each time, it was locked.

"How they're doing it, I have no idea because nothing is wrong with it at all," said Hallmark.

She says she found her car two times when it was towed from a neighborhood four miles down the road. Unfortunately, Saturday night it was stolen again, even though it was locked and blocked in by another car.

"But they had managed to back it up and drive it through the yard, through their yard, and take off," said Hallmark.

This time she says it wasn't left in that neighborhood down the road. And even more, she wants what's inside.

"Most of my son's baby stuff," said Hallmark. "The clothes that he came home in, his stuffed animals that he received."

Hallmark says her young family is starting to fear the worst.

"Neither my husband or I have a car so neither of us can get back and forth to work," said Hallmark. "So, if we can't get back and forth to work we lose our jobs, we lose the house, and then we have nowhere to go."

She has filed police reports.

Hallmark says police did find stolen license plates on the cars when they were found.

She says if she does get her cars back, she will be changing the locks.
