Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday, with a little bit of a break in the afternoon.
KSTP.com meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said morning showers will taper off at 11 a.m. Sunday.
It will become muggy with highs near 80 and it will be breezy.
More storms will develop in the afternoon Sunday, Jonathan said some could be strong.
There is also some spot flooding expected with the rain. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Monday for the metro.
For Monday, Jonathan said more storms are possible, some severe, with highs in the mid 70s.
