When there’s a medical emergency, people in Woodbury will be prepared.

The city is hosting a series of CPR training sessions, hoping to teach 7,000 citizens life-saving skills. Since the Take Heart Woodbury campaign started in February, more than 4,000 people have learned CPR.

"We want people to have that tool of saving lives,” says Angela Kain of Take Heart Woodbury. “We don't want them to feel helpless.  We want them to feel empowered and like they can do something to change the effects of sudden cardiac arrest.”
