A charity dedicated to helping people who have lost limbs is rallying behind a soldier from Minnesota.

Marco Solt, a specialist in the U.S. Army, lost both his legs after a bomb exploded beneath his vehicle in Afghanistan. Solt was quickly fitted with prosthetic limbs but will need help remodeling his home once he returns to Brooklyn Center for good.

Aaron Holm heard about Solt's problem and stepped in to help.

Holm, who lost both legs while changing a tire on the side of a highway five years ago, started the charity "Wiggle Your Toes". It's designed to be a one-stop-shop for amputees looking to recover and quickly become active again.

Holm organized a fundraiser for Solt. Money raised will help Solt transition from the Army to his new life. The benefit will take place Saturday October 27th at Sammy's Pizza in Brooklyn Park. It runs from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Solt will be on hand to greet visitors. Everyone is welcome.
