It’s time to fall back this weekend for Daylight Savings Time. It also means you should change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The Minneapolis Fire Department is giving away free 9-volt batteries at all of its stations. According to the National Fire Protection Association, more than a third of all fire deaths happened in homes with no smoke alarms.
