The state legislative assistant for the Minnesota GOP who was in a 'Twitter War' with John Kriesel, is "no longer an employee or employed by the Minnesota Senate," according to Minnesota GOP Senate Communications Director Steve Sviggum.
The Twitter fight started Thursday night between Republican Rep. John Kriesel and Republican Senate staffer Bob Kross. And it got ugly.
The Twitter war of words all stems from an ad where Kriesel, an Iraq war veteran, takes a stand against the marriage amendment.
The fight was started by the legislative staffer, Bob Koss, who wrote, “@johnkriesel gay marriage ad. Really glad the RINO will be leaving the legislature. #mnleg & good riddance.”
Kriesel got involved by saying, “@BobKoss you can dish it out but you can't take it. Hahaha!”
Then it got really heated. Koss wrote, “@johnkriesel Go ahead and play your veterans card to shreds as you've done. You're a self serving *explitive* and I pity you.”
The cyber war went back and forth a few more times with Kriesel asking Koss why he’s pretending to be important in his Twitter picture, and Koss calling him a “toy publicity loving *expletive*” and that his supporters are as disgusting as he is.
Kriesel finally wrote that he’s been through way too much in his life to let a couple people ruin his day.
By law Sviggum can't reveal whether Koss was fired or if he quit.
