Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan told an enthusiastic crowd that it's time to get America back on track.
Ryan spoke Sunday at a rally at the Minneapolis airport. The stop is part of a campaign swing that will take him through Ohio and Colorado.
Ryan asked the thousands gathered to support GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, saying Romney is the clear choice and "this is the most important election in our generation."
Former President Bill Clinton also spoke in Minnesota Sunday for Democratic President Barack Obama's campaign. Clinton made a stop in St. Cloud.
Minnesota's 10 electoral votes had been seen as safe for Obama, but a late statewide poll by the Star Tribune showed his lead over Romney dwindled to within the margin of error.
