Target Center will no longer use Ticketmaster to sell concert tickets.
Instead, it's going with AXS Ticketing which is owned by Target Center's owners, AEG.
Some of its features include a virtual waiting room which will display real-time pricing and availability. It also offers the ability to reserve tickets for friends so you can sit together.
According to a press-release, “After successfully launching AXS Ticketing in venues and arenas throughout the country and across the pond, we’re looking to continue to build the momentum with the rollout at Target Center,” said Bryan Perez, AEG’s president of digital, ticketing and media. “Through innovations that benefit both ticket buyers and venues, we’re looking to revolutionize the ticketing process to enhance the overall event experience.”
Tickets for this season's Timberwolves games will still be sold on Ticketmaster.
