U of M Professor Among Top 30 Design Educators in Nation

A University of Minnesota faculty member has been named one of the top 30 most admired design educators for 2013.

Adam Marcus, who is an architecture assistant professor and Cass Gilbert Design Fellow, was given the honor by DesignIntelligence magazine, saying he “provides his own brand of excellence that challenges students while trusting and respecting the unique differences they bring to the future of the profession.”

The magazine also recognized the U of M’s graduate programs for architecture and interior design.

Other university alumni making the DesignIntelligence 2013 Leadership Index include: Dan Avchen, HGA, B.Arch '72; Bill Chilton, Pickard Chilton, M.Arch '80; and Ed Kodet, Kodet Architectural Group, M.Arch ‘69.
