You don't need to be big to make a big difference. Eight year-old Payton Hernandez is proof of that.
After hearing about the devastation of Hurricane Sandy she got the idea to collect items for the youngest victims. Her dance studio, KDI Dance Studio, agreed to be a drop-off location for those that want to donate.
They are collecting new pajamas, socks, slippers and small stuffed animals to be given to children on the east coast affected by the hurricane.
If you are interested in donating, items will be collected until Nov. 18.
They can be dropped off at Kincade Dance Industries located at 13608 80th Circle in Maple Grove.
Questions can be directed to Jill Hernandez at 952-239-6436.
