I have been very busy this past week watching horror films. I received a review copy of Mill Creek’s “Midnight Horror Theater” DVD collection. There are thirty-two movies included in this DVD set and it contains over 44 hours of some of the scariest horror films.

I thought I had seen almost every horror movie out there from the 60’s and 70’s, but “Midnight Horror Theater” had a few gems I had not seen before.

“Midnight Horror Theater” is made up of two DVD sets. The first one is “The Undead: Vampire Collection” and the other is “Gore House Greats Collections.”

I really thought that the “Gore House Greats Collection” had some of the most disturbing and horrifying movies. There are twelve movies in this set. There are three double sided DVD’s with two movies on each side.

The quality of the movies is pretty good, but there are a few that are in pretty bad shape. For instance in the movie “Blood of Dracula’s Castle” there are a lot of scratch lines at the beginning of the film, but it does get better. In its defense, the movie is very rare and is over forty years old, so it would be almost impossible to get a perfect print of it.

The movies in the “Gore House Greats Collection are:

The next set of movies that I watched were from the “The Undead: Vampire Collection.
These movies were really good also and the quality of the movies was pretty good as well.

I thought that these movies were very entertaining and I think people who are vampire fans will really like this set. I also liked the fact that there were a lot of movies in this set that I had never seen.

The movies that were included in this set were:

Overall, I was very entertained with Mill Creek’s “Midnight Horror Theater” DVD set. I spent about a week watching a couple of movies every night before I went to bed. I really liked the selection of movies and I think that Mill Creek has some amazing horror movies. They have a lot of movies that I have never heard of and this set had a bunch of them. I can’t wait to see Mill Creek’s next horror movie set.
