2 Suspects Hospitalized after Car Chase, Shots Fired in N. Mpls

A car chase began with shots fired in North Minneapolis and ended with the suspects in the hospital.

Minneapolis Police responded to a report of gunshots around 2 a.m. in North Minneapolis. When they arrived, they saw a car speeding away. After a chase, the suspects hit a parked car at the intersection of Dupont and 33rd Avenue North.

Two suspects were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for observation and a third person was arrested.

The owner of the vehicle said her car had been stolen.

The incident is under investigation.
