There's a major road closure in the west metro this weekend.
Starting at 10 p.m. Friday MnDOT will close Highway 169 in both directions between Valley View Road and I-494.
Crews will be performing road striping and bridge deck work.
The roadway will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday.
Detours include Highway 212 or Highway 100 to get around the area.
