State Adapted Soccer Tournament Kicks Off Friday

The Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs and Robinsdale/Hopkins/Mound Westonka Robins are used to winning.

The Mustangs seek a third consecutive CI Division title and the Robins look to earn a fifth consecutive PI Division title at this week’s 2012 State Adapted Soccer Tournament.

The defending champs will compete in the division quarterfinals that runs on Nov. 16 and 17, at the Stillwater Area High School.

CI Division Quarterfinals
North Division No. 4-seeded Mustangs (7-2-1) will take on No. South Division No. 1-seeded Burnsville/Farmington/Lakeville (11-0-1) at 8 p.m. Friday in Gym A.

Park Center is the top seed in the North.

PI Division Quarterfinals
North Division No. 1-seeded Robins (8-0-0) look to nab a fifth consecutive and seventh overall title and will take on South Division No. 4-seeded Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville (1-8-0) at 5 p.m. in Gym A.

Hawks of Dakota United is the top seed in the South.
