Minneapolis police say a man with a gunshot wound died after being dropped off at HCMC.
The man arrived at the hospital shortly after police responded to a report of gunshots in the area of 24th Street West and Pillsbury Avenue South Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a man had been seen running from the scene and that a vehicle also left the area quickly right after the shots. Shortly after, a vehicle arrived at HCMC with a man who had sustained a gunshot wound. The vehicle dropped off the victim and left immediately.
The victim later died in the emergency room.
Police believed that the shots fired call in the Fifth Precinct is related to the victim who died at HCMC.
