Dozens of St. Paul families will have brighter holidays, and St. Paul first responders are part of the reason why.
The Red and Blue Cares program is in it's second year. It pairs police officers and firefighters with more than 100 kids. With some help from Target, they headed out to buy Thanksgiving groceries Saturday.
The event was built off the Shop with Cops event held in December, where kids pick out presents and wrapping paper for their families, along with food for a holiday meal.
