Falcon Heights city officials are warning residents of a recent scam being reported by community members.
Residents on Arona Street say water quality testing kits and personal information requests are being left on doorsteps. The note asks residents to fill up the water bottle with city water and complete a form with their personal information. The note says the city will then come by to pick up the bottles.
The city says the test is a scam and that residents shouldn’t provide their personal information. Anyone who sees the person dropping off the kits is asked to call 911.
