A Minnesota holiday tradition is up and running.
This year's first Target Holidazzle Parade kicked off at 6:30 p.m. Friday night.
The parade features 15 separate floats and scenes and lasts for about 30 minutes.
It runs on Nicollet Mall between 4th and 12th Streets.
Parade spectators are encouraged to bring food items or cash donations for the emergency food shelf.
Leah Wong with the Minneapolis Downtown Council says, "Two things we're really excited about is we have two brand new floats that will debut (Friday) night as part of Target Holidazle 35. Our Grand Marshal float and our choir float will both be unveiling new looks and new lighting technology."
Each night someone different will be riding on the Grand Marshal float. Friday night, Target's dog took a ride, and Saturday it's the Grinch.
Come out Thursday, Dec. 6 to see Grand Marshals Megan Newquist, Brad Sattin, Patrick Hammer and Rusty Gatenby.
Holidazzle runs Thursdays through Sundays through Dec. 23.
