A fire broke out in the detached garage of a home in Brooklyn Center this afternoon, according to a city spokesperson.
Authorities say the fire spread from the garage to the owner's home, melting a small portion of the house.
Firefighters are on the scene. At this point it's unclear if there are any injuries.
