The city of St. Paul has a better way to help heart attack patients.
The fire department is getting 13 Lucas 2 Automated CPR devices. The machine provides better, more consistent CPR and compressions while on the way to the hospital, which greatly increases a patient’s chance of surviving.
Most of the $200,000 to pay for the devices came from donations.
