A 42-year-old Maple Grove man has been charged for stealing from the 4th Judicial District Court. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office investigated 32-year-old Saleem Abdul Ghani. He was an IT employee with District Court when he allegedly stole computer equipment from his workplace valued at $93,407.03. The theft was initially discovered during an asset inventory of court computer equipment.
A total of 112 items were stolen from District Court. It included a laptop, printer, software, memory, servers, keyboards, switches, and phones.
Ghani has been charged with four counts of felony theft.
