Firefighters battled a house fire in West St. Paul early Monday morning.
The fire was reported on East Annapolis Street near South Woodbury Street around 4:30 a.m. Five people were able to escape the fire uninjured.
The house has extensive damage, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
