Christmas cheer is finally here, and the Target Holidazzle is back for family and friends to get in the holiday spirit.

This year the parade is called “Come See the Night in a Whole New Light.”

According to holidazzle.com, the parade has been happening since 1992 when the first show illuminated downtown Minneapolis for more than 300,000 spectators.

The 2012 parade started Nov. 23, and will go through Dec. 23.  Floats, Grand Marshals and Santa will make their way down Nicollet Mall from 12th Street to 4th Street.

The parade runs Thursdays through Sundays starting at 6:30 p.m.
