Mourning parents are welcome to attend a candlelight memorial in Maple Grove. Every year on December 6th at 7:00 p.m. a candlelight memorial is held at the Angel of Hope Statue in Maple Grove. The Angel of Hope is one of many Christmas Box Angels throughout the United States that are replicates of a statue commissioned by Richard Paul Evans, author of “The Christmas Box,” in response to reports that mourning parents were seeking a place to grieve and heal.

The public is invited to attend this short, simple ceremony. Attendees are invited to bring a white flower to leave at the base of the statue in memory of loved ones. Candles will be provided.

The Angel of Hope statue is located in the Maple Grove Arboretum, 9400 Fernbrook Lane. For more information ,call 763-494-6535 or email
