The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office is asking for any information about a man found on the side of the road in Fridley.
Fridley police officers were called to Highway 65 and 73rd Avenue Northeast around 2:35 a.m. Saturday after a man was found with injuries, including head trauma.
At first officers thought he had been hit by a vehicle, but now they say his injuries aren’t consistent with that kind of accident.
Police believe the suspect is a black man about 5-feet 8-inches tall with short hair who was driving a black Cadillac Escalade with rear-end damage.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office at 763-427-1212.
