A fire has been extinguished at a business near Lowry Avenue and Marshall Avenue Northeast in Minneapolis.

Authorities say the fire broke out at Marshall Concrete Products and lasted for about an hour. Large plumes of smoke were billowing from the plant, which is adjacent to Siwek Lumberyard. Everyone made it out safely, but one firefighter had a minor injury from a fall.

The call came in around 7:25 a.m. Friday and at least five rigs were on the scene. Firefighters say they found smoke and fire in the top tier of the 30-foot building.

The cause is still under investigation.
