We’ve seen, laughed, been amazed by them and shared them with everyone we know. Every month we watch four billion hours of YouTube video.

Kevin Allocca, YouTube trend manager, talked to KSTP’s Rusty Gatenby about the top videos people clicked on during 2012.

Rapper Psy’s “Gangnam Style” was the biggest video of the year. It’s became the most viewed video ever on YouTube, and will hit a billion views by the end of the year.

As for people re-making songs on YouTube, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez re-made Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” to make the list.

Allocca said a surprising video that made the list was a nonprofit video named “Kony 2012.” It is a 30-minute documentary that set a record for most views in one day (30 million views).

Another video that made the list was Felix Baumgartner’s jump from space sponsored by Red Bull.
