Plans to demolish the Ford plant in St. Paul have been given the go ahead.
The St. Paul Planning Commission met Friday morning and approved the site plan.
Unless someone comes forward and objects to the plan in the next 10 days, the commission will apply for a permit to demo the building
At a meeting earlier this month, the Highland District Council said there would be limits on how many trucks could haul out materials each day, and work would be done no earlier than 7 a.m. and no later than 7 p.m.
The plant closed its doors for good about a year ago.
