Last Friday morning, staff at Amore Victoria were shocked to look out their window and see a condo building burning to the ground.

The owners say it was devastating to watch the homes of some of their regular customers destroyed by fire.

The building has since been demolished and now all condo owners and renters are displaced from their homes.

The owners of Amore Victoria say they feel a need to help out the people who live right across the street.

Amore Victoria is hosting a benefit silent auction next Wednesday, January 9.

They are also collecting donations to help their neighbors get back on their feet. And this week if any of the affected victims needs a hot meal or a place to see other neighbors, the Italian bistro is offering them free meals.

To help out, bring your donations to the restaurant, they're especially looking for gift cards. Or you can dine out next Wednesday at the restaurant.

There'll be a silent auction, with all proceeds going to the victims.
