Metro Transit Employees Vote Yes on New Contract

Employees with Metro Transit voted 92% Monday in favor of a new contract deal, avoiding the possibility of a strike.

Bus drivers, train operators and mechanics agreed to the new three-year contract.

A vote against a new contract would likely have sent them into a work stoppage.
