Chaska High School is closed for the day after the school received a threat early Tuesday morning.
The administration says it received a threat before school started.
Officials locked down the building, and students who were on buses were taken to another location.
Everyone is safe, and the district is now working with police.
The district says it decided to cancel school for the day due to the disruption.
Police will search the building, and activities and practices will go on as planned Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Pioneer Ridge Middle School in Chaska was on an internal lockdown as a precautionary measure.
According to the school's website, students were in classrooms, and everyone on the campus was safe.
