A judge will take more time to decide whether new air quality rules should take effect inside Minnesota ice arenas.
The rules would lower acceptable levels of carbon monoxide and other dangerous gases by one third or more.
Arenas would also have to pass an annual certification test the air more frequently and keep a staff member trained in air quality on duty at all times.
The judge is expected to rule by Jan. 23.
