University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler is scheduled to meet with lawmakers Friday.
The meeting comes as the university faces a difficult outlook at the capitol.
The Wall Street Journal reported last month that the U of M’s administration grew almost twice as fast as its student body in the last decade. President Kaler calls the claims “remarkably deception” and unfair.
State lawmakers asked Kaler for an analysis on how the school pays its administrators. An interim report is due March 15.
