Minnesota Wild fans aren't only hungry to get their hands on tickets, but some new garb and souvenirs as well.

The team didn't know what to expect from fans after the 113 day lockout canceled 17 home games, but apparently fans were quick to forgive because Wild gear was flying off the shelves at the Hockey Lodge Wednesday.

It probably helped that there was a 50 percent off sale at all Hockey Lodge locations on in-stock merchandise.

They sold 10 times the number of jerseys they would normally sell on a typical game night. In one day they sold five times the amount of merchandise they do during the entire State Fair.

During Wednesday night's scrimmage it was a long wait to even get inside to shop. It's rare to get 50 percent off one jersey and all other items at the lodge. The Wild's chief operating officer says the merchandise sale was just one way to show fans that they are "committed to winning their faith and trust back."
