Ryan Larson, the man arrested and later released in the killing of Cold Spring police officer Tom Decker, was released from Wright County jail after a third arrest in about a month.
Wright County Attorney Tom Kelly confirms that Larson was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Friday on a bench warrant. He was released around 2:00 p.m. and had to pay $5,000 to be released.
Larson is accused of violating the terms of his release set by the court on Jan. 14. He is facing felony stalking charges.
A criminal complaint was filed in Wright County on Thursday, Jan. 10, accusing Larson of felony stalking and violating a restraining order. Larson allegedly contacted a healthcare facility in Buffalo where his ex-girlfriend worked.
Last week Larson posted $10,000 bail, with conditions; he would have to turn over all firearms and permit to carry weapons to the Wright County Sheriff’s Department. Kelly says Larson failed to do so.
