The film premier coincides with spinal cord legislation at the Capitol.

Gabe Rodreick, a 20-year-old paralyzed in a diving accident four years ago, appears in the film alongside Vikings punter Chris Kluwe.

Kluwe spends a day in a wheelchair to raise awareness about the difficulties those in wheelchairs must overcome on a daily basis. Small tasks, like getting into a vehicle, can be extremely difficult for those in a wheelchair, including NFL players like Kluwe.

The film premiers at the Brave New Workshop on Hennepin Ave. Thursday night and will follow Senator Jeff Hayden's announcement regarding spinal cord legislation at the capitol.

Hayden is calling on the legislature to spend $4 million a year on spinal cord cure research.
