The St. Paul Winter Carnival is off to a rousing start.
Thursday night, the Vulcans and their fans lit torches for the annual Moon Glow Parade into Rice Park.
Earlier, ice carvers started work on what should be some masterful creations. You’ll be able to see them on display at Rice Park through Feb. 3 as long as the temperatures stay cold.
Friday morning, Board Chair Bob Hughes joined 5 EYEWITNESS News to talk about what’s going on at the carnival this weekend.
