Rain covered with snow on Sunday made for a slushy drive across the state, especially with temperatures staying in the low 30s.
But falling temperatures throughout the night promised to make the task of scraping car windows and shoveling sidewalks and driveways more difficult Monday morning.
Monday starts foggy, but the snow is over for now. There will be fog and drizzle throughout the day with snow developing in western Minnesota Monday night.
The next storm system will likely spread moderate snow across western and central Minnesota late Monday night and Tuesday with more drizzle for the Twin Cities metro. Light snow will return again early Tuesday.
