While a snow emergency wasn't declared in either Minneapolis or St. Paul following Sunday's winter storm, St. Paul is plowing.
The city's main arteries were cleared overnight, but plows will be clearing the streets through Tuesday.
Late Monday the city said plowing and salting on residential streets had been completed. With mild temperatures overnight and freezing rain and light snow in the forecast for Tuesday morning, crews will be doing push backs and salting on main arteries Monday night.
On Tuesday, crews will continue plowing and salting on the remaining north-south and east-west residential streets from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The city is asking residents to move their cars from unplowed streets to plowed streets or off the street to help with plowing efforts.
There are snow emergencies in effect in cities like Bloomington and Golden Valley among others.
