Our blast of snow Sunday is a welcome sight for organizers of the City of Lakes Loppet.
This means, all of the events for the Urban Cross-Country Ski Festival will go on as planned.
Organizers say the warmer temperatures will help pack down the snow, then the colder conditions will solidify what's on the ground.
The two day Loppet takes place Saturday and Sunday in Minneapolis.
