JOB TITLE: Account Manager-KSTP-TV

COMPANY: KSTP-TV, Sales-General

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:30a-5:30p, Occasional evenings

and weekends

STATUS: Full Time, Salaried

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working in a sales environment

Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and the internet

A pleasant, customer service oriented style face-to-face, over the phone and electronically

Must be competitive, possess a positive attitude, be highly disciplined and passion to win

Excellent oral and written communication skills, high attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills required

Candidates must be highly disciplined and proactive

Knowledge of the Twin Cities area, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and a safe driving history determined by the Company (driving record will be checked)

Commitment to customer focused selling

DUTIES:

Prospect, identify and qualify advertising clients

Develop new business

Prepare and deliver customer focused sales presentations

Handle copy, collections and client relations

Generate and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data

Service existing accounts

Provide excellent customer service
